What goes into wine?

The wine making process is complex; involving the interaction of many ingredients and quite a bit of patience. Typically wine comes from fermented grapes and the skins crushed during this painstaking process. Specifically, wine is made up of grapes, sugar, sulfites, tannins, yeast, water, enzymes and nature. It takes anywhere from months to years to produce a bottle of wine and in order to have a pretty good bottle, you should understand that you cannot cut corners or rush the process if your goal is to have a great bottle to share.
